Membership Class

Beacon Book Study will begin on Sunday, February 25 after service. We will be reading "Do You Believe?" by Paul Tripp. This book takes a close look at the 12 core doctrines of our faith and how they engage and transform the human heart and mind. Together, 12-14 LTC volunteers will serve our city by partnering with Toronto City Mission to serve dinner to the community in the Jesse Ketchum neighbourhood on Thurs., Dec. 14 (5pm - 9:30pm). Please pray that we serve humbly, extending the love of Christ to those we meet.

There will be a meeting for parents of Tugboat students on Sept. 24 after service. Please inform Pastor Cindy if you are not able to attend.

Sept. 10, 24 and Oct. 1 come and join us to play ultimate frisbee. There will be an hour clinic to learn how to play (beginner and refresher) and a game right after. Please bring one light shirt and one dark shirt to divide into teams. Everyone from Anchor age (gr. 7) and up are welcome to join. No registration necessary. Just come on time. Location: Risbrough Park (3 mins. from Gibson). Contact Chris Roh or Jessie if you have questions.

Join us for our church picnic on Sat., Sept. 9, 11am at Milliken District Park (Parking is free.  Enter the park via Steeles Ave.). We will meet at Picnic Area A (it has a shelter).  It will be potluck so please fill out the form below and bless each other with yummy food. For those coming to the picnic, if you have games or sports equipment, please don't hesitate to bring them.  The weather looks really good!  Praise God! Hope to see many of you there!!

Worship service on Thanksgiving Sunday will include everyone, including children.

Premarital classes are currently ongoing. Led by Pastor Woohyun the dates are: Mon., Aug. 28, Sept. 4, 11 and Oct. 2 at 6:30pm.

We have been given a great opportunity to partner with a ministry that Gibson Centre has been providing for a long time.  LTC wants to help with the food drive effort.  Currently, they are serving over 300 households in the community including many newcomers, refugees, international students, single-parent households, low-income seniors and people with physical or mental disabilities or chronic illnesses. Every item counts.  Bring the items on Sun., Sept. 3 when we return to the Gibson Centre. Click here for a list of helpful items. As you enter Gibson Centre, please place the donations in the large bin by room 101. 

Beginning Sunday, Sept. 3, LTC will worship at Gibson Centre at 11am in the gym (105 Gibson Dr. , Markham).  Tugboat class will meet for their service in the large open area near room 111 (Tugboat's former meeting room).
